CONSEF 2010
This year’s CONCEF science fair took place on March 6, 2010, in Cleveland, Ohio and it was a smashing success!!! CMSA earned a silver and 5 gold metals. Marlon Iztep earned top honors in the environmental category and Yaritza Patino won $250 dollars in the T-shirt design competition.
Area 19 Science Fair
Friday, January 29th, Marlon Itzep, Brian Cruz, Alejandra Cruz and Etna Maxinez competed in the Area 19 Science Fair at Northeastern Illinois University. The students arrived early and were judged by three experts in their area.
Best In Show
Congratulations to the winners of the best in show awards of high school and middle school science fairs which took place on Dec 3-4, 2009.
HS & MS Science Fairs
On Thursday and Friday, December 3-4, students competed in the CMSA “Future Leaders in Science” Fair. Students were judged by members of the community (most of who came from S & C Electric and their science teachers in each homeroom.
Bronze Medal at Inepo International Olympiad
CMSA students had a huge success at 17th International Environmental Project Olympiad, Turkey on May 24-27, 2009.
Middle School Science Fair
Congratulations to all our students who competed, but especially to the top 3 finishers in our 5th Annual Project Fair.
CMSA at I-SWEEEP
CMSA is participating in International Sustainable World Energy Engineering and Environment Project Fair – www.isweeep.org – in Houston, Texas.
A Huge Success at CONSEF
CMSA is glad to announce that our students won 4 gold medals (two of them were the top projects in their categories)and six silver medals at Concept Schools Science and Engineering Fair 2009 in Cleveland.

Area 2 Science Fair took place on January 30th, 2009. CMSA Middle Schoolers, Brian Cruz, Carolina Espinoza, Kiran Ahsan, represented our school very well.
