CMSA is a public charter school located in Rogers Park. We offer a tuition-free, high-caliber education for grades 6th-12th. In 2009, our first senior class experienced 100% college acceptance and 100% college bound. We're also rated one of the top 3 charter schools and non-selective high schools in Chicago.

Club Fair

Field Trip to the Anti-Cruelty Society

Part of the Life Skills curriculum focuses on career exploration and helping students to discover how their abilities, skills, and interests are important in choosing a vocation. As part of a field trip, the 6th and 7th grade students attended an Animal Related Careers presentation at the Anti-Cruelty Society on May 26th and 27th.

Trip to Costa Rica

CMSA is planning yet another overseas trip to Costa Rica next year!  The trip will take place during Spring Break from April 16 to April 24, 2011.  There will be an informational meeting regarding the trip on Thursday May 13, 2010 at 6:30pm in the cafeteria.

Art Chicago Fair

Mr. Piercy and his Art 2 Class went to the annual Art Chicago Fair in Merchandise Mart. The annual international fair of contemporary and modern art, brings together the world’s leading emerging and established galleries.

CMSA Showcase 2010 (Video)

CONSEF 2010

This year’s CONCEF science fair took place on March 6, 2010, in Cleveland, Ohio and it was a smashing success!!! CMSA earned a silver and 5 gold metals.  Marlon Iztep earned top honors in the environmental category and Yaritza Patino won $250 dollars in the T-shirt design competition.
